Deposit

A deposit of 25% of the total rental fee is payable to confirm your booking. Please note that although we are happy to book you in on a provisional basis, we must take confirmed bookings strictly on order of deposits received. Payment of the deposit will be regarded as acceptance of the terms and conditions of the rental without recourse.

Full Payment

The balance of the outstanding rental fee is due 6 weeks before the booking commences when we will provide you with detailed information about the property.

The rental fee covers use of the property, bed linen, towels and tea towels and electricity for summer bookings. See below information on Bond requirement for winter bookings.

Winter and long stay bookings

For winter and cool season bookings (approx October to May), and for bookings longer than 4 weeks, a Bond based on 25% of the total rental fee will be required to cover electricity charges (based on meter readings) and firewood. Bookings of longer than 4 weeks will incur a final cleaning charge. The Bond is payable with the balance of the rental fee. The balance of the Bond will be refunded after your stay with these charges deducted.

Cancellation

Your deposit will be returned if your booking is cancelled three months or more prior to the start date of your property booking. No refund will be given if cancellation is made giving less than three months notice.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that clients take out travel insurance, at least 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the booked period.

Arrival & Departure

We ask that you do not arrive until 4.00 p.m. on the first day. Similarly, we ask you to leave by 10.30 a.m. on your last day. This is to allow for cleaning, linen pickup and inspection of the property.

Note

The rental includes 1 set of bed linen. A change of linen for bookings longer than a week is available but clients are asked to wash soiled linen in the laundry facilities provided.

Bath towels are provided, clients are asked to supply their own beach towels.

Clients are asked to leave the property as they find it. Information will be provided regarding the weekly recycling collection and nearby locations for daily rubbish disposal in the village.

The use of the accommodation is entirely at the user/s risk. The owners and their representatives accept no responsibility whatsoever for injury and/or any loss or damage to the user/s and/or their property during the use of the accommodation.
