By Rail

Béziers Railway Station is 20 mins drive from Capestang. From Béziers it is possible to travel by rail to Paris and Paris Airports direct in 4-5 hours. Please check the following websites:

There is a Europcar rental agency next to the Railway Station.

By Car

Travelling by car ferry from the UK, a journey to Capestang would require an overnight stop-over enroute.

If you don’t want to drive

It’s very useful to have a car to explore surrounding areas, but if you don’t fancy driving there are other ways to get around.

There is a shuttle bus from Béziers Airport to Béziers bus station timed to meet in-coming flights. It is then possible to connect with the local bus network to travel to Capestang. The local bus also stops outside Béziers Railway Station enroute to Capestang.

Béziers bus station is a busy hub for travel to the beach and other local destinations. There are also local taxis available, and pick ups may be possible from Carcassonne Airport.
